What is CLUE?

CLUE is a Property Honesty Platform that allows tenants to share their real rental experiences. If you're looking for a property, you can access these 'CLUEs' to make informed decisions before signing a lease.

How do I search for a property?

Use Seeker Mode in the app and enter the property's Makani number. This is a unique identifier for properties in Dubai. You can find the Makani number on property listings or by asking the landlord/agent.

What is a Seeker Pass?

A Seeker Pass gives you unlimited access to view CLUEs for any property. It's a one-time purchase (not a subscription) valid for 2 weeks or 1 month. If you've submitted an approved CLUE as a tenant, you get 50% off!

How do I leave a CLUE?

Switch to Tenant Mode in the app, verify your tenancy with UAE Pass, and follow the prompts to share your experience. You can add details about property conditions and upload photos/videos as evidence.

Is my identity protected when I leave a CLUE?

Yes. Your personal identity is never displayed with your CLUE. Your mobile number is only shared if you choose to allow it, and you can change this setting at any time in the app.

Why do I need to verify with UAE Pass?

UAE Pass verification ensures that CLUEs come from real tenants, preventing fake or spam submissions. Your Emirates ID and Ejari information is only used for verification and is never shared.

Can I delete my CLUE or account?

Yes. You can request deletion of your CLUEs or your entire account by contacting us at support@clue.ae. We'll process your request within 30 days as required by UAE data protection laws.
