What is CLUE?

CLUE is a Property Honesty Platform that allows tenants to share their real rental experiences. If you're looking for a property, you can access these reviews (called CLUEs) to make informed decisions before signing a lease.

How do I search for a property?

Use Seeker Mode in the app and enter the property's Makani number. This is a unique identifier for properties in Dubai. You can find the Makani number on property listings or by asking the landlord/agent.

What is a Seeker Pass?

A Seeker Pass gives you unlimited access to view CLUEs for any property. It's a one-time purchase (not a subscription) valid for 2 weeks or 1 month. If you've left a CLUE as a tenant, you get 50% off your first Seeker Pass!

How do I leave a CLUE (review)?

Switch to Tenant Mode in the app, enter your property's Makani number, and follow the prompts to share your experience. You can add details about property conditions, landlord responsiveness, and upload photos/videos as evidence.

Is my identity protected when I leave a CLUE?

Yes. Your personal identity is never displayed with your CLUE. While we verify your identity for authenticity, other users only see your review content, not your name or contact information.

Can I delete my CLUE or account?

Yes. You can request deletion of your CLUEs or your entire account by contacting us at support@clue.ae. We'll process your request within 30 days as required by UAE data protection laws.

Why do I need to verify with UAE Pass?

UAE Pass verification helps ensure that reviews are from real people, preventing fake or spam reviews. It's optional but recommended for submitting CLUEs. Your Emirates ID information is only used for verification and is not shared.

What if I have a refund request?

Seeker Pass purchases are processed through Google Play or Apple App Store. For refund requests, please contact the respective store's support. For other issues, contact us at support@clue.ae.
